There is something extraordinary about standing in a room filled with dreamers, builders, and change agents, and today in Washington, DC, I felt that power rise in the atmosphere. Being part of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit is not just an honor — it is a divine appointment. As a small business owner who has spent years championing women, elevating voices, and creating pathways to purpose, walking into this summit reminded me that we are not simply running businesses; we are shaping legacies. Today, I stepped into my seat at the table with intention, clarity, and a fire to advocate for policies that strengthen the backbone of our communities: small businesses with big vision.
I am here to speak up for the everyday entrepreneur who dares to build, even when the world underestimates her. I am here for women whose brilliance deserves funding, support, and opportunity. I am here because our stories and our solutions matter. This summit is a powerful reminder that when purpose meets preparation, doors open — not just for us, but for every person coming behind us. And trust me, I didn’t come to Washington to sit quietly. I came to make sure that women, especially Black women, are heard, seen, and represented in the decisions shaping our economic future. The work continues, and I am honored to be part of it.
