The Arrival of Delegation at the Airport; they will be received by the Chief Executive Officer of YOKS Travel & Tours, President of Ghana Tourism Federation and other dignitaries & driven to the Movenpick Ambassador hotel. Check in to room, freshen up and ready for breakfast at the Hotel.

EXPLORE GHANA’S CULTURAL HERITAGE

  • Day 2: Friday, September 11, 2026

Breakfast will be served at the hotel, after which you will prepare for an immersive tour of Ghana’s vibrant capital city. You will be picked up from the hotel and escorted aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned executive bus for a day of exploration, visiting
key historical and cultural landmarks across Accra.

Our first stop is Black Star Square; a national landmark and the ceremonial grounds of Ghana’s Independence celebration.

We continue to the newly renovated Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, the final resting place of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

A visit to the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, dedicated to the life and legacy of the renowned Pan Africanist and scholar for donation activities.

This day offers the chance to visit leading businesses in Accra, explore investment opportunities, and engage in a strategic exchange of insights.

You will share your experience as accomplished businesswomen in the diaspora, while learning from local business leaders about the Ghanaian market. The visits are designed to build connections, inspire ideas, and open doors for collaboration and investment.

Upon arrival to Ghana, your checkpoints are:

  • Ghana Health Services (show your yellow fever card)
  • Immigration (check your visa and stamp your passport)
  • Baggage Claim
  • Customs (routine check; be sure to let agents know you are only travelling with personal clothes. There may be a random inspection)
  • Airport Exit (YOKS Travel & Tours will send agent to assist you with all the above Customs & Immigration formalities.
After exiting the airport, YOKS Travel & Tour agent will escort you to the bus to your hotel. Our hosts and guides will be with you throughout your entire journey, including Police Escort.Upon arrival at your hotel, you will be escorted to where you will pick-up your room key, freshen up and come back to the hotel lobby where you will be escorted to the welcome reception dinner, with cultural performance and storytelling (Brief history about Ghana). If you are looking for a night life experience, check with our trip concierge for the Open Skies @ 233 Jazz and Grill Lounge (Reservations required)
